Carrier Updates: Devoted

As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance our understanding of the factors driving complaints, we are sending this reminder and informing you of some important changes to the agent complaint investigation process.

To facilitate a thorough investigation, it is crucial that we gather comprehensive information regarding the chain of enrollment. This includes details about how the lead was generated, including communication and marketing materials, the individuals and entities involved (including sub-agencies, lead vendors, agents, etc.), as well as all call recordings related to the sales presentations and enrollments, if applicable. When you receive a notification regarding a complaint investigation and request for information, please ensure that you attach all associated materials and call recordings promptly. This includes:

  • Lead Vendor Names

  • All associated marketing and communication materials, including but not limited to evidence of permission to contact, scope of appointment, advertisement along with the respective document ID/SMID.

  • All call recordings related to the sales presentation and enrollment process, including lead vendor and/or subagency call recordings.

This will assist in determining whether there has been any non-compliant activity, whether it originated from the materials, the lead vendor, a subagency, or an agent. When attaching the lead call, please label the file with the vendor's legal business name. Failure to provide the associated materials and call recordings in a timely manner may result in a founded determination and lead to corrective action. We ask that you please share this information with your contracted sub-agencies as well.

CMS is actively reviewing these complaints and expects the aforementioned information to be provided. We highly encourage you to review these materials and calls beforehand. This proactive step will help you identify any improvement opportunities with your agents, materials, contracted sub-agencies, and/or lead vendors involved, allowing for a more efficient resolution process.

Thank you for your attention to this important matter and your continued partnership!

IFG Marketing Oversight Reminders

AEP Materials Due:

As the Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) approaches, we want to remind you to submit your Marketing and Communication materials for review including brochures, flyers, digital ads, mailers, and any other marketing and communication content.

Here are some helpful tips to keep in mind as you prepare your marketing submissions:

1. The estimated timeline for final approval is currently 45-60 days from start to finish. To ensure your materials are approved by 10/01/2025, submit by 07/01/2025.
*Please note that this timeline may be subject to changes and is not guaranteed.

2. Allow extra time for review this year and submit materials as early as possible.

3. Carriers require pre-review and approval before using any materials. IFG is here to assist your agency in obtaining all the necessary reviews and approvals for the use of your materials.

4. To expedite your reviews, accept all edits and respond to all questions as timely as possible. If all edits are incorporated in your first response, send both redlined edits and responses along with a clean final to further accelerate the review timeline.

If edits received from IFG are not incorporated within 30 days of receipt, your submission will be cancelled.

5. Marketing of the 2026 plans cannot begin until October 1, 2025.

To submit materials for review, please use the submission portal: https://teamifg.com/marketingcompliance

The IFG Marketing and Communication Guide is a great resource as you develop your materials.

In this role Jordan will oversee our Medicare Commissions, Life & ACA Commissions, Contracting and Reporting teams.

Jordan brings over 8 years of experience working with Humana MarketPoint in various data, reporting and business intelligence roles. Most recently he directed the data and reporting teams that support the entirety of the MarketPoint sales channels.

When asked about coming on board, Jordan shared, “I could not be more excited for this new opportunity. I love what the IFG team has built already as one of the fastest growing sales agencies in the industry and look forward to helping IFG be able scale and grow even more!”

Upon his arrival in this position marks an exciting chapter for our organization, and we’re all very eager to leverage his extensive experience and leadership to help lift our teams.
