Innovative Interview with Joe Violetta (Technology)

IFG's director of Sales and Marketing, Matthew Murray, welcomes Joe Violetta, President and CEO of 4Core Financial, back into the podcast studio for a conversation about 4Core's 2023 sales growth and the types of technologies his team utilizes within and outside the IFG platform to achieve exponential growth.

Joe is excited to share that he also uses AI to write books to help clients through the Medicare process. "You have people that are early adopters, and then you have laggers. And it's not necessarily age that determines that." Joe shares that AI will not determine your success as an agent. But then, what's the worst thing that could happen? AI and technology platforms are available to assist your sales process.

Matthew shares that he has witnessed 4Core build its CRM over time with excellent results. Joe has led the way for his company, increasing client data with the proper tags and custom values -- gathering Google reviews to drive organic SEO and, ultimately, more referrals.

Joe advises, "Once you get into your CRM, you want to clean your data consistently. One of the things we teach every agent during AEP is if you talk to a client, open up your CRM." Continually update your client contact information. Make sure you get their cell phone number. 4Core receives a high average of 75% response rate to their Happy Thanksgiving text message. This kind of CRM technology workflow can connect you with your clients more often through automation, increasing the retention of your business.

Joe shares, "They feel important. They feel like you are paying attention to them. And also, they will reach out and say, Hey, I have a question." Now, you are servicing that client through technology and automation.

Joe talks about another critical innovation that sets 4Core apart, the digital business card technology his team has pioneered: "To put your contact information into a client's phone when you call them, now your picture comes up on their phone."

Matthew and Joe discuss the new CMS guidelines changing how agents and agencies do business in the marketplace.
